Why do front-facing strollers cost $600? Do I really need a front-facing stroller? How much weight should the thing be able to carry? HOW MUCH DOES A TWO-YEAR-OLD WEIGH???
Help. Me.

What the hell is a front-facing stroller?? Isn’t that like…a REGULAR stroller?
My kid weighs 30 lbs and he’s 17 months. My friend’s kid weighs 33 lbs and she’s 3 years old. So it depends on the kid, totally. For the first 20 lbs of it – while the kid is in a bucket seat – a “travel system” is the one thing I regret not having. You can take the sleeping kid out of the car and put him on the stroller and go shopping WITHOUT EVER TAKING HIM OUT OF THE SEAT. Genius.
Also, breathe. Your kid won’t care what you buy her.
Oh, wait. I guess I meant the kind of stroller where the kid faces you instead of the street. The kind of thing my mom would call a “carriage.” The regular strollers, like the travel system, are nice and not too expensive, but the ones where the baby is higher and faces you are RIDICULOUS.
But I have this nightmare scenario in my head where I’m standing on the corner waiting to cross the street, and a dog comes along and thinks my kid is the perfect thing to pee on.
Bottom line is that I want something that lasts as long as possible. I can’t do the thing where I buy a new car seat every time the baby gains two pounds.
Dude, carry it about in a sling until it’s about three months, then put it in a regular stroller. And browse for bargains. We got ours for £70.
